Summary
Axcient delivers essential business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR)
solutions that are easy for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to deploy and
manage.  The rise of cybersecurity threats like phishing and ransomware have
made BCDR solutions more important than ever to safeguard data and keep
companies secure and productive.  MSPs rely on Axcient to address these complex
challenges with BCDR solutions that are simple, comprehensive and profitable.
We are looking for a Junior SDET to join our engineering team to perform regular testing of our products (Functional, Acceptance, and Regression.) In this role you will be a part of a global team that works to develop and support the best possible product for our clients.


This is a hybrid role, where the individual would need to come into the
office in Yerevan a few times a week.


Key Responsibilities
  • Regression testing
    • Perform regression testing
    • Create/Update the existing regression test cases
  • Acceptance testing
    • Perform acceptance testing for minor features
    • Perform acceptance testing for bug tickets
  • Documentation support
    • Maintain documentation that is needed to perform regression testing
    • Maintain documentation that is helpful for quicker on-boarding process
  • Work with automation – automation tests failure analysis.
Requirements
  • Learning ability (you will have to do a LOT of it)
  • Initiative
  • Attention To Details
  • Experience in QA or similar area is an advantage
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of QA methodology and test design techniques
  • Experience and basic understanding of Linux, Windows, macOS OSes
  • Basic understanding of networking
  • Basic understanding of virtualization/basic experience with virtual machines (VMWare, VirtualBox, Hyper-V, etc)
  • Basic scripting languages experience (python, ruby, etc.) - optional
  • English - Intermediate level and above
  • Bachelor degree in Computer science or related field is an advantage
