Summary

The National Account Manager builds and maintains positive, trust-based relationships at all levels of the account, including senior executives. Successful individuals in this role are able to discuss business strategies and understand and explain complex technical solutions. The National Account Manager coordinates and leverages multiple functions across Axcient yet remains personally accountable for everything related to his/her partners. Success is measured by the total penetration of Axcient and customer feedback.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
  • Building and maintaining senior management/C-level relationships with key partners to gain an understanding of their businesses and key priorities to identify joint regional sales strategies and tactics for achievement of sales targets
  • Influencing the adoption of Axcient, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR), Office 365 Backup, and Secure Sync & Share solutions through strong relationships with identified targeted partners
  • Actively supporting targeted named Managed Service Provider (MSP) partners and Value-Added Resellers (VARs) through all stages of the sales cycle including sales planning, delivery of sales programs/incentives to promote awareness and stimulate demand for Axcient
  • Conducting ‘deep dive’ strategic account campaigns to support your accounts, enabling your partners to experience the full Axcient value proposition, allowing them to deploy deeper into their organization
  • Building and managing a sales pipeline tracking and activities through the various stages of the sales funnel process
  • Developing and delivering various knowledge transfer activities, support technical product training and information to named MSPs and VAR partners
  • Other duties as assigned
Who You Are
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of technical sales experience within the MSP market
  • Strong technical aptitude, ideally a sales engineering background
  • Experience developing and implementing account plans aligned to corporate strategy
  • Successful experience as a new business "hunter"
  • Able to introduce technologies and maintain long-term relationships
  • Track record of successful personal sales pipeline management and results
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and build rapport in senior customer relationships
  • Proven ability to respectfully engage multiple functional areas across an organization
  • Personal goal setting, time management, and drive to succeed
  • Integrity, humility, team-orientation, and drive for performance
  • Denver area preferred
The estimated OTE range for this position is: from $145,000 to $165,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary and will be based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
